Website re-design for a general contracting company.
The owners are in the middle of rebranding and wanted me to re-design their website.
With this new re-design, Spencer Contracting wanted the website to represent their work and services. In addition, they wanted a more minimalistic approach to the website and user-friendly.
I was asked to re-design the company website. The website should be user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and shows the services the company offers. The goal was to design a website that helps users understand the services offered and the company's work and make it easier for users to reach out to them.
I did a typical walkthrough of the website with the clients and started making notes. In this phase, I interviewed the clients and gathered more information about their business goals.
I also did a competitive analysis, where I learned more about the ins and outs of the website's competition and helped me identify the areas of improvement.
I kept clients in the loop with weekly check-ins. It was a crucial step because I wanted to make sure any changes or issues are taken care of before implementation begins.
I enjoyed working on this project and wished I had more time to conduct usability testing and explore more on improving the website's design for the end-users.
